Exploring Instructor Perceptions of Using Video-Based Feedback

The use of video feedback in face-to-face, blended, and online learning classes has increased markedly since 2014. However, the this form is not well understood. In study, we conducted a systematic literature review how higher education instructors perceive video-based feedback. We analyzed 39 peer-reviewed articles from 2009 to 2019 identified four themes related creating videos, quality feedback, connecting with students, sustaining practice offering Overall, most claimed that was relatively easy time-efficient create. some faced specific challenges recording, unwieldy software tools, feeling anxious when videos. Instructors also noted videos provided more detailed, higher-quality Additionally, remarked personal connections their students. Finally, research on long-term sustainability providing mixed.
